Peeping in to give you some update!

Well I have been off blogging for a bit!

It has been quiet a crazy week first we got snowed in quiet a it last end of the week.

There's some beauty in the snow, that just mesmerizes me!

The husband got very creative (since the kids were away in the daycare and school still) and he made a snowman!

He painted it with some spray paint which was lying around the house, we put some dates for the eyes, and the swimming noodles for the hands ,and a recycle can for the nose! lol

My girlie is getting potty trained , she is doing excellent pee wise, poo wise is a whole different story, we are getting there. I am so proud of her for having just a couple of accidents today on day 3!

Anyhow, but the bottom line is, the method of potty training I am following needs you to constantly attend to your kids potty needs and just "Divorce" the diapers so to say,and that is keeping me away from doing pretty much anything except be around her.Currently we are only using "Pull Ups" during sleep times ! Anyways Sorry for the TMI !

While the entire surroundings that I am in will be busy with celebrations, I am starting a 3 day juice cleanse tomorrow!

Will let you know how it goes.

T'is the season

I had a fantabulous day today.

No-I did not exercise one single bit today, but I am not one bit sorry or guilty- CHEEKY huh! We went down to the States and did a tonne of Retail Therapy.

It was a perfect day, with very less clouds. Such dry rain / snow less days are very hard to find specially this part of the world, where I live!

I love how these Flags of U.S and Canada stand side by side even though this Mall is located in the States. Just shows how much the feeling of brother en is around the borders.

The cross border expedition was just the hubby and me, the kids were in the daycare and school. Although I was firstly very reluctant to go without them, I was glad I did. We needed that break!

Evening we took the kids to see some awesome lights around the town.

The girlie could not stop saying "Light!"

"WOOW Mumma Lights! "

There they are the Big bro and the Girlie, and the other boy had no time to stand for 5 seconds for a foto! He was exploring some stones in the background! Lol

In all I am enjoying my staycation.

I Bully myself and I LOVE it!

Last Friday was the last day of work for the rest of the year YAY!

Though this is going to be a Stay-cation with us not travelling anywhere, we are planning to do a few things around the house,

  1.  some fixing, some refinishing.
  2. Some touch ups etc.
  3. I also plan to take the kids to see the Christmas lights across the City.
  4. I want to start potty training one of the twins and hoping that she gets the hang of it before I can move to the other twin.
  5. We have a family tradition to watch Christmasy movies in the Winter break with some hot chocolate or wine
  6. Get 30 minutes of exercise everyday
  7. Count and track my food ESPECIALLY during the stay-cation time.

Today is day two and let me tell you I did exercise yesterday, today however ,the mean B**** in me is not wanting me to exercise-uggh-I have been self sabotaging a lot of things lately, exercise wise, food wise, and other aspects of my life as well.

What has worked for me is to be my own bully-I pull my self and get myself moving. I have started treating myself(the inner self) like I would treat my 9 year old-If he doesn't do the chores that I ask him to do, I hound him like no ones business and make sure he does what he is expected to do, like cleaning up after meal times, if he forgets I make sure I go behind him to remind him.

I am being the same with myself these days, and it has been working. For e.g-I did not want to exercise yesterday, but I did not listen to myself, I went to the gym and just showed up and everything else just followed.

I am also focusing on food a lot,its a challenge in the holidays , But I think I am a work in progress!

Weigh Wednesday

Weigh In Wednesday

I was out last week with a crappy stomach flu. So did not even bother to weigh myself the whole while. Until this morning, while I was sure I would see some weigh loss( I wasn't sure how much)

I woke up early this morning to do JM's 30 day shred as I have an early shift and need to take the public transit to work which means my bus is at 6.50 am and going to gym and coming back and getting myself and reaching the bus stop all before that was a bit too much. So I though I'd rather do a session with my beloved Jillian :D

My Weight today

TADAAAA

Notice that I painted my nails as I was too ashamed of myself the other time I put the picture up

I am happy and excited and scared all at once as my vacation time off starts in less than 3 days and I want to see the number go downwards.

Yesterday I was too lazy to make my lentil soup so I ate this for lunch instead

That's it for now. This babe is in a hurry :)

The **S** & **F** word kinda Manic Monday

Hello People!

**F** for FLAT tire

This morning I woke up to go to the gym to a FLAT tire-BOO- to that so I went back to bed a BIGGER boo to that!

When everyone was finally ready to go to school/ daycare we went out to this

The **S** word-SNOW~~~~

and this

Not too bad, but it still is SNOW

Well I went to the gym yesterday and did this mean machine

While I only did 15 minutes, I must have broken a good sweat and my knee hurt for a while after!!

Then I also did another of the machines, I 'm not sure what you call them , its not an elliptical, and its not a hip machine, not sure, but in between I guess a cross trainer? for about 25 minutes

Other than that I am pretty much staple at having soup (Beans and lentils with tonnes of veggies for Lunch and salad for dinner)

I was first thinking of making it just Salads for Lunch and dinner, but then I thought that would be way too little and would give me an opportunity for binging.

However I am thinking of doing something similar for the last two weeks of December, let's see how that works out.

I will let you know when I make up my mind!

That's all for now

Alive from the Dead-Part 2 ---------a post with no pictures :(

Hello world!!!!

I think I am finally alive from the dead and so is the whole family thankfully!

Last Saturday evening we had an event to attend to , and first time in like the history of being parents we hired a baby sitter to come watch the kids,we (hubby and I) have never got to a point where we would ever want to HIRE a teenager to come baby sit for us.

Oh, don't get me wrong , some of them are very very responsible, however in our case handling three kids out of which two are the same age, sometimes becomes a bit too much for us as adults and their parents, so how would we expect that from a teenager.

However we got lucky this time, we did not hire a teenager, actually she happens to be one of the daycare teachers for our kids daycare, and is a qualified /certified early childhood educator.
Since, she knows how to handle my twins in the day care, we were much comfortable asking her to baby sit for us,big brother is at an age where he can pick up the phone and either call us OR call the emergency number for help.

Anyhow, we did have a good time on Saturday and I was very good food wise. I just had some soup and that was about it.

Sunday morning the twins were puking and pooing constantly.
Poor babies! They were so down.

I don't know what's with me, when my babies are jumping around,I want them to stop and when they stop and sit in one place like that day, I feel so bad.

Monday afternoon, the big brother started puking and having an upset tummy.
Monday night it was the the hubby and Tuesday morning it was me.

It ain't fun to take care of sick family when you are sick yourself.
I remember when I was going to bed, Monday night, I prayed that god please don't make me sick so I can take care of the family.
Luckily I did not get as sick as the hubby and the twin girl!
Well, yesterday was the first day I ate proper healthy food, and my tummy was still a little sore.
Life seems to come back to normalcy.

As you may have guessed it exercise and healthy eating was on the back burner for the past week, but back to routine I get .
